BEGINNER SHUFFLE DANCERS
Level 0-1

I discovered shuffle dancing at 54, just one year after my first knee replacement. Like many, I first saw it on social media and immediately thought: I'm too old, too broken, too unfit, and too uncoordinated for such an intense dance style.

But I couldn't stop watching. One day, I decided to try just one move—the Polly Pocket. It was so fun that I tried another. And another.

Two years later, shuffle dancing has transformed my life. Now, my mission is to inspire and help other midlifers discover what I have: it's never too late to move your body in ways that bring you joy.
