Level 0: On-Ramp

Build the mechanics your body needs before learning moves.

  • Balance, hops, pivots

  • Rhythm + timing basics

  • Strength + control

  • Intro to the Running Man, Charleston, and T-Step

👉 Best for true beginners or anyone who feels “awkward” starting out

LEARN THE FOUNDATION

Level 1: Foundations

Learn the core shuffle vocabulary and start linking movement. This is the standard starting point after On-Ramp.

  • Running Man, Charleston, T-Step, Polly Pocket, Crisscross

  • Transitions + combinations

  • Intro to freestyle

👉 You’ll stop “following” and start understanding

CHOOSE THE LOWER IMPACT TRACK

Level 1A: Low Impact Foundations

A different approach to shuffle — reduced impact, grounded, and controlled.

  • Modified set of foundations (low impact moves only)

  • Minimal jumping and joint load

  • Focus on rhythm, control, and flow

 

👉 Best if you want to learn shuffle with less strain on your body

Not all foundational moves are taught — this is a separate training path.

ADD DEPTH

Level 2: Depth & Directionals

This is where your dancing starts to feel real. This is the required next step after Foundations.

 

  • Back Steps, Y-Step, Side Charleston, Gallop, Jog

  • Direction changes + angles

  • Faster combos + stamina

 

👉 Required for the Advancement Retreat + next-level training

BUILD YOUR DANCE

Level 3: Advancement Courses

Includes Shuffle Variations, Intermediate Shuffle, Combo Lab, Choreo Lab, and other advanced skill-building courses.

Designed for dancers ready for:
• More complex transitions and combo work
• Expanded movement vocabulary
• Freestyle and performance development
• Higher tempos and increased endurance

👉 Level 2 qualifies you for the retreat — Level 3 helps you thrive in it.
